Hello, my sweet estrellitas! It’s been a long enough time since my “a little later” in my post about the anniversary of my career as a writer. But I have finally returned to you to tell you that I’ve reuploaded all my books from the “Stronger Together” series. Yes, I had to spend a lot of time and nerves on it because I had to upload something manually, while I wasn’t able to upload the full work automatically. Nevertheless, I have gotten rid of this “infection” and can solemnly say that the edited versions of my books are now available on my accounts. Of course, there are lots of cringes in them, but if you close your eyes to them, it may seem much better now. If I check out the whole text one more time and edit it slightly, it will look more or less good. Anyway, I’m 80% satisfied with everything.
Okay, but now let me tell you everything about all the new details in my books.
ALERT: There may be spoilers in the text that you are going to read next! So be careful if you’re not familiar with my works yet.
THE SINS OF THE PAST:
- This book has been modified much more than the others because I was actually planning to rewrite a lot of things
- Some scenes that do not have any significance have been removed
- I’ve changed the names of two characters because I didn’t like the old ones too much
- I’ve changed the middle name of one of the main characters in this story
- The first chapter has been completely rewritten, and I wrote a short scene especially for this part featuring the antagonist, because it was very big before and made me feel embarrassed
- I’ve decided not to delete all the flashbacks from the previous version of the first chapter, and I’ve just placed them throughout the full book in more or less suitable moments
- Almost all scenes from Chapter 2 have been rewritten slightly
- I’ve added a couple of moments to Chapter 2
- I’ve changed the scene in one of the scenes in Chapter 2
- There will now be moments in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 that hint at the guest appearance of the characters, who will become the lead ones in the following books
- A new small scene has been added at the beginning of Chapter 6
- Also, I’ve written a scene for Chapter 6 with the lead character that tells us about one of her little sins, which she is hiding from everyone because she does not want to be judged (we don’t need perfect characters!)
- The moment when one of the lead characters told her niece about her problems in Chapter 8 was completely rewritten. Previously, there was a crazy enough twist that I really wanted to get rid of. And I couldn’t think of anything better than to write what happened in the end.
- The story about the tricks of the second antagonist in Chapter 9, which also made me a little embarrassed, has also been changed
- A scene that tells us more about the events from the new version of the scene from Chapter 8 has been added to Chapter 10
- The place where the lead character meets the antagonist in Chapter 13 and Chapter 14 has changed because I didn’t like the previous one
- Actually, this scene has been changed and improved after being rewritten
- I’ve also changed the way the antagonist has to give up on their plans
- Some new lines and a couple of new quotes have been added in some places
- Some chapter titles have also been changed
- I’ve fixed some typos (not all of them, of course; I could’ve missed much more, but I promise that they will be fixed someday)
THE BROKEN HEARTS STORY:
- Some scenes that do not have any significance have been removed
- Chapter 1 has been fully re-written with the same characters that appeared in the previous version of it, which I didn’t like at all, but I made it a little better
- A few new lines and a couple of new quotes have been added in some places
- Some chapter titles have also been changed
- I’ve fixed some typos (not all of them, of course; I could’ve missed much more, but I promise that they will be fixed someday)
- The full Chapter 15 has been changed a lot, and not only has the place of the meeting of the lead character and the antagonist changed but also many other things
- I’ve also changed the way the antagonist has to give up on their plans
- Several moments that would show the main character’s weakness and wish to be close to someone, who is stronger than her, have been added to it
- I’ve added the confession of the lead female character of her terrible act (referred to the scene in Chapter 6 from the book “The Sins of the Past”), and it is also mentioned that the lead male character also had an enemy, because of whom his career was kind of ruined
- Chapters 11 and 17 will now confirm the guest appearances of the future major characters, who appeared in Chapters 2 and Chapter 3 of the book “The Sins Of The Past”
THE SECRETS HIDDEN IN THE SCARS:
- I’ve added some references to the events that happened in the previous books
- Some scenes were removed from the book since they did not have any meaning and did not let the story develop somehow. Oh gods, how much I dreamed of doing this! They didn’t make any sense at all! Yes, of course, there are a couple of scenes that could be deleted, but I will think about them a little later
- Some new dialogues have been added in some places
- Some chapter titles have also been changed
- I’ve fixed some typos (not all of them, of course; I could’ve missed much more, but I promise that they will be fixed someday)
- Chapter 1 has been completely changed. Since I didn’t want to delete the scene that was originally in this part, I just decided to get a piece from the book and add it to the beginning of the book and make that old scene a part of Chapter 2. I’m sorry, guys, but I really don’t want to delete it. I like it so much… Yes, there is nothing catching in it, but it actually introduces the lead characters and gives us some information about them.
- In Chapter 43, you can now read the continuation of one of the scenes and the moment when the main character covers his beloved girl determinedly with himself in order to prevent her from suffering because of one scoundrel. I actually had this moment on my mind for a very long time, but I always told myself to stop thinking about it. However, at some moment, I realized I wanted it, tried to write that scene, and saw that it was actually cool. So, I decided to add it. By the way, I was thinking that the moment would’ve been over with the death of the lead character, but no, I do not want to kill the main characters, especially the one, who is my favorite.
THE LOST AND FORGOTTEN MEMORIES:
- Chapter 1 has been completely changed. Since I didn’t want to delete the scene that was originally in this part, I just decided to get a piece from the book and add it to the beginning of the book and make that old scene a part of Chapter 2. I’m sorry, guys, but I really don’t want to delete it. I like it so much… Yes, there is nothing catching in it, but it actually introduces the lead characters and gives us some information about them.
- Some new dialogues have been added in some places
- I’ve fixed some typos (not all of them, of course; I could’ve missed much more, but I promise that they will be fixed someday)
- I’ve added some references to the events that happened in the previous books
- In short, this book has gotten too major changes. I was just looking for typos and mistakes in it. I am absolutely happy with the storyline, and I didn’t plan to change anything about it.
Now I want to talk a little about the shortened editions of all these books. They have also been reuploaded. And as you can see, the number of pages has decreased enough and doesn’t now look as terrifying as the number of pages in the extended versions. When I was working with them for the first time, I was always like, “No, this scene is necessary… No, I like this scene… No, it’s so cute… No, I want to have it!” I felt like cats were scratching inside me when some scenes were removed from the books. And in the end, the number of pages/characters was still shocking. But this time, I decided to do it differently. I started editing the shortened editions of my books from the very beginning. And I was much more determined. I deleted all the scenes that had no meaning without any regret. All the storylines of the minor characters were also removed. Or they were cut, so they were briefly mentioned. Almost all the love scenes were also deleted because they were explicit enough and long enough (oh, yay, baby, I like to add long foreplay in my books). In short, the cleaning was hard! But I can confidently say that the result of this hard work is worth it all. Now, the number of pages in all the shortened editions of my books ranges from 800 to 900. I think these numbers are not as frightening as the previous ones. I don’t want to show off, but damn, I’m proud of myself! I really thought that I wouldn’t be able to do this, but it turned out even better than I expected.
But if you thought that this would be the end of the editing of my books, I can say you’re wrong. It will never end. Because I never stop finding typos and places that I want to correct. Sadly, I didn’t come up with ideas of how to get rid of a couple more moments in “The Sins Of The Past” that I did not like at all. However, I want to talk about it a little later. Because there’s something else. It’s been a long enough time since I’ve come up with a wish to rework the storyline of one of the characters, who appears in the book “The Broken Hearts Story” for the first time. Yes, it’s now more or less good, but… II believe that he revealed himself kind of too early. And I want to fix it a little. The problem is that I have to change many scenes a lot (starting from Chapter 8 from TBHS and all the chapters from TSHITS up to Chapter 31). I already have some ideas, but I don’t know what I can get in the end. Anyway, I will try to write the new version of the storyline and see if I like it. If I do, I’ll reupload Book 2 and Book 3 with the modified scenes.
Yeah… I guess I won’t be able to start working on the 5th book of the series. Yes, it will not be released until 2025, judging by the time that it takes for me to finish working on one book. But there are so many thoughts in my head that I want to make them come true here and now. Just because I won’t be able to calm down. I can’t stop thinking about it. All these thoughts are tearing my head apart!
Anyway, if I have some interesting news, I will immediately come to you with it and tell you about everything. And in the end, I just want to wish you a lot of inspiration, loyal readers, and interesting books.
Love, Estrella Rose.
