Hello again, my sweet estrellitas! If you rarely check on my accounts on social networks, you must have seen my post, in which I said I’d make an announcement of my fifth book from the series “Stronger Together” on April, 10th. So, I am here to keep my promise and finally reveal what I wanted to tell you so badly for a long time. So, let’s not waste time and talk about everything in order. Okay, let’s start with the title. To be honest,  I changed it multiple times, but the earliest variants were not good to me since they had a very, very big spoiler, which was the reason you could stop reading the book. However, it didn’t take too much time (I will reveal all the variants of the title after I publish the final chapters), and I decided on the title of my baby (another super long work).

So-o-o-o… We-e-e-e-elcome… Drum roll…

THE CRIMINAL DIARIES!!!

The book that I am announcing on the birthday of the lead male character, who is going to do a lot of crazy things and fight some people, who want to get rid of him.

I’ve told you many times that the previous book of the series called “The Lost And Forgotten Memories” was originally supposed to be the last one. However, I could not stop thinking about the fifth book. I really wanted to tell the story of the fourth lead couple of the entire series. But at first, I didn’t know what I could write about because I thought everything about them was told. And even when I came up with the main idea for my book one beautiful day, I tried to get rid of the desire to do it until the very end. I told myself, “No, no, c’mon, stop! Stop! Enough, girl!” But… As you can see, it didn’t help me, in the end. And here’s what I got. I wrote the book, and it’s (almost) ready to be published.

So, here’s the cover of “The Criminal Diaries” and the synopsis of it. I don’t exclude that I may change something slightly. Knowing the fact that I really love changing all the covers every time I start a new book. This time may not be an exclusion. But now we have what we have.

After achieving success as a band, Peter Rose and his best friends are about to release their debut album. But the attack on Peter after one of the shows and the fact that someone tries to get rid of him again and again darkens their happiness. With the help of his friends, he has to find a way not to suffer because of the unknown person, protect his girlfriend, Helene Marshall, and uncover the shocking truth that will turn everything upside down. Also, he will have to fight his most dangerous enemy – himself and the demons that are ready to reveal his dark side and turn him into a bloodthirsty criminal, who craves revenge on those, who hurt him and killed his belief in the humanity of the world.

Originally, I wanted to use the same so-called template as for the book trailers for the previous books by downloading videos from some free stock sites and creating an AI audio with some text said on behalf of the lead character. But as long as AI technologies started to develop, and we got the ability to add our own characters to videos, I decided that I wanted to make a book trailer with the lead characters by using photo references. I wanted to make it special this time. And I spent several months doing it: learning to work with the AI app, collecting stuff (I generated like 1k videos to find something good), choosing the best shots, coming up with the concept with the help of ChatGPT…

But the result is eventually stunning, and I am really happy with it. And this time, I didn’t have any issues with rendering the video because I started to work on it in a different app, which exported my 1.5-minute video for just 5 minutes. While the previous one spent (attention!) more than 2,5 hours or somewhat to do it. Yes, I had to change shots to something better many times, so I could get the same vibe. But this time, everything was wonderful, I can say. I actually wanted to make it a short teaser and then render a 3-4 minute extended version. But then I reflected and decided that this video would be the final book trailer that got some hints at what would happen in the book. Anyway, I hope you’re going to love my attempt to make something good. By the way, estrellitas, I would like to ask you, what do you think about my desire to make similar videos for the previous books? I think the current versions of the book trailers do not seem so cool anymore. I wouldn’t mind making something better in my free time. What do you think?

As for the publication… I can’t say anything now, but I promise I will try not to make you wait for too long. And now, I am planning to make a special post with facts about this book, in which I will tell you more information without any kind of spoilers. Maybe, I will even publish a couple of quotes or dialogues on my social networks. And I am thinking of sharing the lead soundtrack for this book with you and one more song that has English and Russian versions. In short, follow the news, my sweet estrellitas.
